NuLook® Refresh Interior: Zones B-E

To refresh the cabin in Zones B-E, primary architectural components were designed with flowing lines and soft shaped surfaces to complement other modern upgrades made to the main deck's cabin. It delivers maximum visual impact with a minimal number of parts, while providing weight savings opportunities. NuLook RI-BE kits include new shelf bin doors, internal bulkhead gap covers, bullnose rail and panel assemblies, enhanced centerline pivot bins, end caps, snap in/snap on adjustable seat row markers, gull wing ceilings, transitional panels, and closeout parts.

As an option, airlines can also choose to install Heath Tecna B747 sidewalls with new reveals and wraparound edges to complete the interior refurbishment. It really makes a difference, especially if the existing sidewall's edge trim is yellowing slightly, and the original decorative's finish is one that dates the aircraft. In addition, the color temperature of the existing sidewalls may not match colors found in new retrofitted furnishings.

Air India was the launch customer for the B747 NuLook RI with six shipsets and China Airlines will be installing the IUS on nine of their jumbo jets as well.
