OEM System Integration

Heath Tecna is one of the pioneers of the integration service industry. For nearly 15 years, we've worn the hat of STC integrator, helping airlines to reconfigure their aircraft exactly as intended. While our company continues to excel at providing those services in the retrofit market, the OEM Programs team has their own flavor of integration to offer our OEM customers.

We call the service OEM System Integration, and what it represents for the customer is peace of mind. As everyone in our business knows, developing an aircraft interior is extremely complex. For all the thousands of parts and assemblies that need to be designed, tested, and inspected for conformity, there are perhaps a dozen or more vendors who will be supplying them. Suppliers need to be vetted, costs need to be negotiated, and all of the technical work needs to be heavily scrutinized. The question is, who's responsible?

Performing as a Tier-One supplier and system integrator to the present day, we have all the experience required to be the one coordinator an OEM can rely on to manage the enormity of their nose-to-tail interiors program. There is a lot of due dilligence and trust involved with that, but we're confident in our abilities.

So what's involved? Our designers will work closely with the OEM to define the style and technical specifications of the the interior systems. Engineering will control the interface definition, manage system design efforts, coordinate certification activities, perform fit checks, and trouble shoot all third party components. In addition, the team will collate all digital development assets (engineering drawings, CAD models, stress analysis, etc...), and oversee construction of all physical mock-ups, test rigs/articles, test equipment, tooling, and functional prototypes of these interior systems.
