Program managers play a central role at Heath Tecna. We believe strong and active program management is the best way to deliver outstanding service to our customers. Our seasoned professionals have an in-depth understanding of the aerospace supply chain and use their authority to run multiple shipset projects under one program. They are sensitive to customer expectations and run their programs as smoothly as possible to simplify the process for them.
From the time the program is awarded, the assigned PM coordinates all activities between Heath Tecna, the client, third-party vendors, and the appropriate airworthiness regulatory agencies. Detailed schedules are created for all deliverables and status tracking tools are utilized to monitor everyone's performance. The stage-gate technique is employed to manage development activities, and technical data is shared as the project matures. Throughout the entire process, meetings are held, minutes are recorded, and status reports are issued. Major milestones for a program include:
- ITCM (Initial Technical Coordination Meeting)
- PDR (Preliminary Design Review)
- CDR (Critical Design Review)
- FAI (First Article Inspection
